New comic, finally.  Like I said I'm doing the original script that Alby and I wrote in 2001 for the original Another Sonic Sprite Comic.  I changed some of the characters around though and one or two comics were changed so it makes sense with the last story arc.  Round 2 has started with the character battle.

What's up ASSC fans!  Been a while since I busted out any kind of update.  Anyway, I was really bored the other day and edited together The Mounties: The Best of Season 1!  At the moment, it's been uploaded to Facebook, so according to see it I believe you need to have a Facebook account.  There will be a version uploaded to YouTube in the coming days.  So once I do that I'll change the links around so they direct you to YouTube!  Stay tuned for later today as I'm sure Jay will be updating the character battle.  In the meantime, and if you have a Facebook account, enjoy the best moments of Season 1 of the Mounties!

Finally issue 100!  The original script Alby and I wrote in 2001 will start (again?) next week.  The only things I will change will be some characters (as the guests then would/do not want to be guests now) and anything obvious (i.e. President Bush now President Obama & change how to make fun of new president, etc, etc, etc).  Speaking of Another Sonic Sprite Comic we move into the first round of heroes for that comic series today in the character battle.

All right the 2009 character battle has started.  Since the votes were tied how to do it I've done it all of the above sort of.  There will be 64 characters this year instead of the usual 32 (except for that other time it was 64).  The characters are split by comic series (Random Stupidity, Another Sonic Sprite Comic, VX Kingdom, and Bushed).  Since there are many overlaps of characters in series I placed by their must recent appearance plus I've only used characters that have been used since the last character battle/when the site relaunched/past year (depended on the situation and the comic).   I also took cameos into consideration.  The exception of latest appearance is VX Kingdom where there is a spoiler of 2 characters yet to appear but at some point hopefully this year.  After I split by latest appearance and comic series I split them by their alliance: good/hero, evil/villain, neutral/no alliance, anti-hero/ambiguous.  Finally they were split by alphabetical listing in their alliance.  The first round will consist of 4 charters to find the 2 best in each alliance of each current comic so each round after that will only have 2 characters.   So yeah enjoy this year's character battle and hopefully this years winner will get more comic time than last years.
